New 'Dragon Ball Z' film announced for spring 2015
A new “Dragon Ball Z” animated feature film based on a screenplay by original manga series creator Akira Toriyama will hit Japanese cinemas during the Golden Week holiday period next year.
The story of the new film will follow “Battle of Gods,” meaning that a lot of action and well-crafted dialogue can be expected.
A teaser trailer, now available on the official website for the film, opens with a scene where a wish-granting dragon is summoned after the seven mysterious orbs known as Dragon Balls are gathered. Then the text appears, saying: “I’d like you to revive someone.”
The powerful dragon grants the wish, and another text reads: “The history’s worst battle. Despair begins now.”
More details about the story and the battle, as well as enemy characters, will be updated later.
The new project, which will be released from late April to early May, comes on the heels of “Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods,” the first film adaptation of the “Dragon Ball” manga series in 17 years. The globally popular comic book series has sold more than 230 million copies worldwide.
The film raked in about 3 billion yen ($29.6 million) at the Japanese box office after it was released in March 2013.
Due to the renewed popularity, the 19th film adaptation was given a green light.

top 5 ANIME Third one is BLEACH
Bleach (ブリーチ Burīchi?) is a Japanese anime series based on the manga of the same name by Tite Kubo. The anime ran for a total of 366 episodes including 111 episodes of original material not based on the manga.Bleach was produced by Studio Pierrot and directed by Noriyuki Abe. Bleach's Japanese and English voice actors include some of the most credited and well known voice actors, including Johnny Yong Bosch. The music was composed by Shirō Sagisu, who also composed the music for Neon Genesis Evangelion. A total of fifteen opening themes and thirty ending themes were used throughout the series, featuring a diverse group of Japanese artists.
Bleach follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki after he obtains the powers of a Soul Reaper (死神 Shinigami?, literally, "Death God")—a death personification similar to the Grim Reaper—from another Soul Reaper, Rukia Kuchiki. His newfound powers force him to take on the duties of defending humans from evil spirits and guiding departed souls to the afterlife. The anime adaptation includes original storylines not found in the manga; including repeated appearances and stories containing these original characters. Studio Pierrot produced the series from 2004 to 2012, consisting of 366 episodes. Viz Media obtained foreign television and home videodistribution rights to the Bleach anime on March 15, 2006. Cartoon Network's Adult Swim began airing Bleach in the United States on September 9, 2006. The series international release extends through dozens of countries in several languages including Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Tagalog. The anime is expected to continue without fillers once the manga's final story arc advances farther past the arc of the anime, or after the manga ends. There is large fan demand to see the final arc animated.
‘Bleach’ Anime Returns? Expect A 2015 Release Once Manga Finishes
The 'Bleach' anime stopped production in 2012 with the end of 'Fullbring' arc. But, with the fainal arc in manga approaching its conclusion, the return of Inchigo and his friends will happen in 2015.
Plenty of fans of the 'Bleach' manga and anime noticed the quality of the story declined once Aizen was defeated back in season 14 of the anime.
With the plethora of filler arcs taking up time for writer/artist Tite Kubo to get far enough ahead of the show, the enthusiasm for the anime seemed arduous at best but with this final arc of 'Bleach' the quality has picked up immensely and there has been renewed demand to see how Ichigo's story ends.
If you haven't been keeping up with the 'Bleach' manga, then you are missing out. Ichigo and the other Shinigami are under attack by the Quincy King Ywach and his Wandenreich. Having dispatched the Captain Commander of Soul Society, the Quincy have pretty much taken over the Shinigami homeworld.
While Ichigo and the other prominent Soul Reapers have made major progress in the war with the Quincy, the Ywach has another sinister plan up his sleeve, to kill 'God.'
While Aizen previously tried to gain access to this UNIVERSE'S
God, Ywach has slipped into the God realm and is close to fulfilling his plan.
This entire arc of the 'Bleach' manga has been excellent. While focusing on some of the minor characters of the story, Tite Kubo has really found his footing to great storytelling once again. Giving some closure to some character arcs and giving others some major power ups -- Kenpachi finally released his zanpakuto!
All of this will really up the popularity of Bleach again, which was arguably one of the most popular animes in the world -- up there with Naruto and One Piece. It's understandable that the production studio wanted to slow things down so that Kubo could put enough space between the anime and manga, but they should be going into production again soon.
With where the current arc is in Japan, the final chapter of Ichigo's story should occur sometime at the end of 2014 and the latest in the first quarter of 2015. So expect news of the Bleach anime returning during the holiday season. It's going to happen, it's just a matter of time.
Requests for comment from Pierrot Studios -- the production studio behind 'Bleach' -- have not been answered but we will post any update as soon as we get it. It would be a shame if Pierrot Studios pulls an 'Inuyasha' and doesn't animate the end of 'Bleach' till years after it actually finished.

ANIME NEWS: New 'Gundam' feature film to hits theaters
The latest installment of Yoshiyuki Tomino's long-running acclaimed space anime "Gundam" will hit movie houses in Japan on Aug. 23.
The "Gundam: Reconguista in G" movie will consist of the first three episodes of the new "Gundam" TV series slated to air in October.
Tomino is helming the project, the first time in 15 years since the "Turn A Gundam" TV series.
Celebrating the 35th anniversary of the first "Mobile Suit Gundam" series, "Gundam: Reconguista in G" will be shown at 13 selected cinemas nationwide. The new TV series will be broadcast in the Animeism late-night block provided by Mainichi Broadcasting System Inc. and other networks.
The movie and series is set in a new timeline called the Reguild Century, which follows the Universal Century calendar originally featured in Tomino's previous series. The story centers around a young cadet pilot involved in a mission to protect an orbital elevator tower connecting Earth and space. It is said that the series will be a story of "boy meets girl and robot."
Kenichi Yoshida, whose past works include "Eureka Seven," serves as character designer. The series is being produced by Sunrise Inc., the leading anime studio responsible for the "Gundam" franchise.
"Reconguista" stems from the Spanish word "Reconquista," which refers to a 781-year period when the Iberian Peninsula was gradually reclaimed by Christian kingdoms after centuries of Islamic rule. It is also said that "G" stands for something else other than Gundam, although that has yet to be revealed.
